Abandoned by all relations
Religion, creed and race
Looking for a deeper connect
That shall not deceive, upon joining –
Asking me to break
Forgotten in moments of time
Or lack of it
Everyone has paid their visits
But yet there is one to have seen
Strangers for some
For some just strange
I found my identity
In the look of daze
There is no sign now
That reads
Only in the papers
Somewhere in the left
Broken shackles remind of the forgotten life
Of yesterday
When I chose to change
For a better day
Never had pictured
What I have today

Realization struck me in a somewhat profound way –
We only dream tomorrows
Live yesterdays
And pass on by
